Civil Project Engineer (PE)Shorewood, IL$100,000 – $125,000TWG Engineering is seeking a Civil Project Engineer (PE) to support the design and development of civil engineering projects including roadways, site layouts, utilities, and stormwater systems. Our mission is rooted in innovation, collaboration, and delivering practical solutions that support long-term client success.This is a hybrid position located in Shorewood, Illinois.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and modify civil design drawings and plans using AutoCAD Civil 3DPrepare engineering calculations for grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway layoutsAssist in design reviews and ensure compliance with local codes and project specificationsCreate construction documents, technical specifications, and quantity takeoffsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to coordinate design solutionsConduct occasional site visits to support inspections and project executionReview RFIs and technical inquiries during project development and constructionMaintain accurate documentation of drawings, calculations, revisions, and communicationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) license required; Illinois PE preferredMinimum of 3 years of civil engineering or related design experienceStrong understanding of civil engineering principles, site development, and utility designProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsCompensation and BenefitsSalary range: $100,000 – $125,000Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous PTO and paid holidaysPaid volunteer time offContinuing education reimbursementCollaborative and growth-oriented work environmentIllinois AI Compliance StatementThe Will Group does not use artificial intelligence in any way that discriminates against applicants based on protected characteristics and complies fully with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
