Seeking a Locums RadiationOncology Physician to provide coverage in a predominantly outpatient setting inAlpena, Michigan is. This role offers a balanced schedule with a strong focuson continuity of care, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Practice Setting Clinic: 90% Outpatient / 10% Inpatient Inpatient consults are infrequent but possible Dedicated weekly tumor boards (attendance required) EMR: Epic Dictation: Dragon Schedule 3 days per week 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Preferred coverage days: Tuesday - Thursday Call Requirements Weeknight call only Call is optional but preferred while provider is on-site Clinical Responsibilities E&M services New consults and follow-ups Radiation treatment management Treatment planning and oversight Procedures & Technology CT Simulation (CT Sim) Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) High-Dose-Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy Requirements Active Michigan medical license (MI license only) BLS certification Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology Alpena is a scenicwaterfront community located along Lake Huron, offering beautiful naturalsurroundings, outdoor recreation, and a relaxed pace of life.
