Content Creator

Proper Painters is looking for a part-time Content Creator to capture photo and video content from real painting projects across the Richmond area. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating content, being in the field, and turning real work into engaging visuals for social media. What You’ll Do: Visit active job sites to capture before, during, and after content Take high-quality photos and videos of our work and team Help plan and script simple video content (Reels, TikToks, etc.) Capture short testimonial and on-site clips Organize content for marketing use (Optional / Preferred) Edit short-form videos for social media What We’re Looking For: Comfortable shooting content on a smartphone or camera Reliable transportation Organized and self-motivated Strong eye for visuals and detail Interest in social media and content creation Details: Part-time (5–20 hours/week) -- Up to your discretion and what the painting schedule looks like each week Flexible schedule (some weekday availability required) Pay @ either a flat rate per jobsite visit/content gathering session ($75-$125/visit) or hourly @$18–$35/hour depending on experience -- we can discuss during interview If you enjoy creating content and want to work with a growing local business, we’d love to hear from you.
