This position is responsible for production performance, sales growth, regulatory compliance, facility oversight, staffing strategy, and financial management. The Production & Sales Director provides strong leadership to production teams, ensures operational efficiency, maintains regulatory compliance (including 14(c)), and drives continuous improvement initiatives. This role balances strategic planning with hands-on operational support and plays a key role in advancing Remarkable’s long-term business objectives. Strong leadership, financial insight, operational expertise, and alignment with Remarkable’s core values are essential. Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Oversight: • Provide direct leadership and guidance for Oshkosh and Neenah production teams. • Oversee all full-time and part-time staff within the production department. • Lead workforce planning, staffing strategy, and recruitment coordination. • Maintain key referral agency relationships. • Support applicant engagement and onboarding collaboration. • Provide consistent communication updates (daily, weekly, monthly). • Foster a positive, inclusive work culture that supports diverse languages and backgrounds. • Actively participate in strategic business planning subcommittees. Facilities, Safety & Regulatory Compliance: • Oversee buildings, grounds, tools, equipment, and maintenance programs. • Coordinate contractor scheduling, communication, and oversight. • Identify and implement improvements to maintenance systems and facility operations. • Ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements, including completion of time study and prevailing wage sections of the Section 14(c) certificate. • Lead audit preparation and regulatory inspections. • Implement corrective and preventive action plans within production areas. • Support OSHA and workplace safety compliance initiatives. Production Operations & Quality: • Lead production planning and scheduling to maintain consistent workflow and meet ship dates. • Provide hands-on operational support during staffing or resource challenges. • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and 5S practices. • Lead process optimization, layout improvements, and housekeeping standards. • Maintain production reporting systems and operational performance tracking. • Oversee materials and inventory accuracy, including customer-supplied parts. • Conduct customer-requested audits and optimize storage solutions across both facilities. • Ensure quality standards and certifications (HACCP, best practices) are maintained. • Coordinate transportation and resource sharing between facilities as needed. Sales, Customer Management & Financial Oversight: • Lead sales efforts for existing customer accounts and develop new business opportunities. • Prepare job estimates and pricing quotes in a timely and accurate manner. • Implement strategic pricing initiatives and review contracts annually. • Maintain professional communication with customers. • Develop and manage monthly production department budgets. • Monitor financial performance, analyze costs and margins, and manage P&L responsibility. • Align operational strategy with revenue goals and organizational growth objectives. Requirements: • Strong leadership experience in production, manufacturing, or industrial operations. • Experience managing multi-site operations preferred. • Financial acumen and budget management experience Preferred. • Knowledge of 14(c) regulations and DOL compliance preferred. • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Demonstrate Remarkable’s core values: Care, Create, Connect, Celebrate — all with Integrity.
