Our three divisions, Engineering and Test, Technical Services, and Mission Systems, make DTB a diverse and interesting place to work.Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited ToInterpret engineering drawings for fabrication and assembly of test fixturesUtilize tools and equipment required to assemble test fixturesStrain gage installation, including interpreting drawings for location, surface preparation, bonding, soldering, and diagnosticsAssemble hydraulic systems composed of hoses, servo valves, actuators, and manifoldsInterfaces with customers and the engineering teamPerform and document inspections of workTravel as required within the continental US (on average 10 - 20%)Overtime and flexible shifts will be required during certain periods of a projectThe Ideal Candidate Will NeedMinimum of a High School Diploma / associate's degree in aerospace, electrical, mechanical or related fields highly desired.5 +years' experience in mechanical, structural, and hydraulic equipment assembly and setup.US Citizenship Required.Aircraft structural testing experience is a plus.Ability to multi-task and be flexible to changing schedules.Mechanical hands-on technical experience is a must.Understanding of aerospace safety requirements and quality standards highly desired.Must be able to work from engineering drawings tailored for test fixture assembly.Must be experienced and resourceful in the use and operation of tools and equipment used to assemble steel fixtures.Proficient in the use of overhead cranes / rigging is highly desired.Ability to operate industrial equipment such as forklifts and related material handling devices.Instrumentation / strain gage installation is a plus.Ability to work night shiftDayton T.
