Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO)Job SummaryThe Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician provides comprehensive, patient-centered medical care to adult or family populations in an outpatient and/or inpatient setting. The physician is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic conditions while promoting preventive health and wellness.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive primary care services, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of acute and chronic medical conditionsPerform routine physical examinations, preventive screenings, and health risk assessmentsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with evidence-based medical guidelinesPrescribe medications and therapies as appropriateOrder, interpret, and review diagnostic tests, laboratory results, and imaging studiesEducate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, lifestyle modification, and overall health maintenanceCoordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals as neededMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and clinical meetingsComply with all regulatory, ethical, and professional standards of medical practiceQualificationsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency programBoard-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineActive or eligible medical license in the practicing stateDEA registration or eligibilityStrong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skillsPreferred SkillsAbility to manage a broad patient population across varying levels of complexityCommitment to high-quality, patient-focused careStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsProficiency with electronic health record systemsWork EnvironmentOutpatient clinic, inpatient hospital, or mixed setting depending on practice needsFull-time or part-time schedules may be availableCall responsibilities may vary by practice model
