Enterprise Project Manager
Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Business Project Manager to lead business and functional projects from definition through completion and operational handoff. This role will establish project governance, translate business objectives into executable plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive delivery, stakeholder alignment, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.Technical fluency is valuable, but deep technical project management is not the primary focus.This role is on a contractual-basis (C2C or 1099), *On-Demand 20-40 hours*, fully remote, 6 months project duration, and projected to start September 14th.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine project objectives, scope, success measures, deliverables, milestones, resources, constraints, and decision rights with sponsors and business leaders.Build and maintain integrated project plans and coordinate work across cross-functional teams.Lead stakeholder alignment across business leaders, functional teams, SMEs, vendors, and other partners.Establish project governance, including status reporting, working sessions, steering updates, decision logs, and action tracking.Identify and actively manage risks, issues, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.Manage changes to scope, schedule, cost, resources, and expected outcomes.Map current and future-state business processes, identify gaps, coordinate requirements, and support operational improvements.Coordinate readiness, communications, training, documentation, stakeholder feedback, transition, and handoff.Capture lessons learned and recommend improvements to project practices, processes, and governance.Required ExperienceProven experience independently leading complex business or functional projects with cross-functional stakeholders.Strong project management fundamentals across planning, governance, scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, change control, and reporting.Ability to translate business objectives into clear workstreams, deliverables, ownership, milestones, and measurable outcomes.Strong executive communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to influence in matrixed environments without direct authority.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive decisions amid ambiguity or conflicting information.Experience with business process analysis, operational improvement, organizational change, or business transformation.Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited direction and bring structure to ambiguous situations.Proficiency with standard project planning, collaboration, reporting, presentation, and documentation tools.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.Preferred QualificationsPMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.Experience supporting globally distributed or multi-region teams.Experience within a formal PMO, portfolio governance, or strategic planning environment.Technical aptitude to effectively partner with IT, data, systems, security, and vendor teams.Experience with portfolio/strategic portfolio management tools.Experience with process mapping, requirements elicitation, change management, or operational readiness.Success in This RoleSuccess means establishing clear scope, ownership, milestones, and decision paths; providing timely visibility into project health and risks; keeping stakeholders aligned; delivering agreed outcomes and documentation; and successfully transitioning projects to accountable business owners.If this role aligns with you - or someone who you know is qualified - please attach your most updated CV/resume with a good phone number to reach you at.
