Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including commercial, industrial, and residential spaces. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and appearance. This position will be from 5pm or 6pm-9pm Monday-Thursday. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces. Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment for various surfaces and materials. Conduct industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of floors through mopping and floor care practices. Follow cleaning schedule provided by management. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in good condition. Refill restroom supplies and cleaning toilets and office spaces. Occasionally assist with stocking of supplies in janitors closet. Skills Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments. Familiarity with floor care practices, including buffing and waxing techniques. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within deadlines. Strong communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members.
