This role will assist with site assessments, environmental sampling, technical reporting, regulatory coordination, and overall project execution while working closely with senior project managers, clients, and field teams.Assist with the coordination and execution of environmental investigation and remediation projects for public and private sector clients throughout New Jersey and the NortheastConduct site inspections and field oversight activities to ensure environmental work is completed in accordance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and health & safety standardsPerform and oversee soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor sampling activities at environmental sitesSupport environmental due diligence efforts including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)Assist with monitoring well installation, soil borings, and other subsurface investigation activities in compliance with NJDEP and federal regulationsEvaluate environmental data to help determine the nature and extent of contamination and assist in developing remediation recommendationsInterpret groundwater flow direction and contaminant migration using historical records and site-specific dataPrepare technical reports, field documentation, environmental summaries, and regulatory submissionsCoordinate with laboratories, subcontractors, drillers, and internal project teams to support successful project executionTrack project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and overall project progress while communicating updates to senior staff and clientsUtilize environmental software and standard engineering tools to analyze data and support project planningAssist with preparing proposals, cost estimates, and bid documents for environmental projectsSupport NJDEP regulatory compliance and environmental permitting efforts as neededMentor and provide guidance to junior staff and interns during field assignments and project workParticipate in client meetings and contribute to business development initiatives by identifying opportunities for additional environmental servicesTravel to project sites throughout New Jersey and surrounding states as needed for fieldwork and client supportQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field3-6+ years of environmental consulting, field investigation, or remediation experience2+ years of environmental project management experienceFamiliarity with environmental site assessments, soil and groundwater sampling, and environmental compliance activitiesExperience with NJDEP regulations and environmental reporting is a plusStrong technical writing, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard environmental data management/software toolsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environmentWillingness to travel to project sites throughout New Jersey and surrounding areas as neededBenefits:Base salary: $70 – 90,000Discretionary Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision CoveragePTO + Paid Holidays 401(k) with Employer Contribution Health Reimbursement AccountTuition Reimbursement, Continuing Education and Certification Assistance Life Insurance, AD&D Insurance Transportation Reimbursement Employee Engagement Activities Professional Growth and Development Opportunities
