*Responsibilities*
* Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machinery
* Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
* Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances during production.
* Maintain proper tooling setup by selecting appropriate tools and fixtures; perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime.
* Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; ensure proper storage and inventory management within the manufacturing facility.
* Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to meet strict standards; document findings accurately for quality assurance records.
* Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, fabrication projects, or packaging processes to meet production goals efficiently.
* Follow safety protocols diligently; utilize hand tools and safety equipment consistently during all operations.
* Assist with welding or fabrication tasks when required; support continuous improvement initiatives within the factory environment.
*Experience*
* Proven factory or manufacturing experience operating complex machinery in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawing interpretation.
* Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers accurately for quality control purposes.
* Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and process adjustments.
* Strong understanding of tooling setup, mechanical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, and safety procedures within a manufacturing facility environment.
