Job Title: Specialty Coder Sr – Remote (Anesthesia Coding – Profee Only)Contract Duration: 12 weeksContract Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week guaranteed)Shift: Day (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 60-minute meal break)Position Summary:A leading healthcare system is seeking a Specialty Coder Sr to support professional (Profee) anesthesia coding remotely. Selected candidates will be responsible for high-quality CPT and/or ICD-10 coding of outpatient or inpatient specialty accounts, focusing on anesthesia services. Accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to official coding guidelines are critical for success.Responsibilities:Perform accurate and timely CPT and/or ICD-10-CM/PCS coding of professional services (Anesthesia focus).Maintain a coding accuracy rate of 95% or higher.Abstract data into EMR systems.Collaborate with HIM, Clinical Documentation Specialists, and other departments to ensure complete and compliant physician documentation.Follow AMA CPT and ICD-10 Official Guidelines.Provide coding support across different units as needed.Requirements:Experience: Minimum 2 years of Profee (physician coding) experience required.Certification: Online certification verification must be included with the profile. Specialty coder certifications preferred.Location: Must reside in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Georgia, or New Mexico.Technology: Candidate must provide their own laptop and dual monitors.Availability: Full-time availability required.
