Perfusionists also handle specialized procedures, participate in research and education, continuous quality assessment and process improvement, and maintain equipment and accurate records ensuring outstanding patient care.The perfusionist will be responsible to cover various shifts, including days, nights, rotating holidays, and on-call.QualificationThe perfusionist must be a graduate from a council on Allied Health Education Administration (CAHEA) approved perfusion training program and be certified or certification eligible by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
