Porter For ASPCA ServiceSafety Clean LLC seeks a Porter for an ASPCA Service in the Bronx. Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM General Requirements: Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures and clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash receptacles; replace light bulbs; refill restroom dispenser Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high-pressure washers, high-speed buffers, and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed. Perform cleaning and related activities such as removing snow or debris from sidewalks using hand shovels and exterior squeegees. Use salt spreaders to distribute calcium chloride Daily interaction with customers, vendors & supervisors in a professional manner Job Qualifications: Must have relevant experience High school Diploma/GED required Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong work ethic, reliable, punctual, and dependable What We Offer: Paid Time Off Health insurance options for full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, 401K TransitChek program available for full-time employees Starting Rate: $17/hr
