This position requires excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and someone who has previous experience in the power testing field. If you are looking for your next opportunity where you can partner with different key roles to continue moving the electrical sector forward, this may be the position for you!Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAbility to interpret customers test application and technical performance requirementsIdentify discrepancies in legacy requirement data and recommend viable resolutionsDesign and validate automated electrical systems for power conversion productsDesign electrical interfact test adapters, fixture and cable assembliesQualifications4-Year College degree - BS in Electrical Engineering degree is highly preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Test engineering or a related fieldAbility to generate clear and concise eletrical drawings, wire lists, bill of materialsExperience developing schematicsKnowledge of PCB layout software is a plusWorking knowledge of power testing systems, especially automated test systemsSoftware programming is a plus; Python or C#Experience using AC/DC power sources, electronic loads, hipot testers, power meters, and general electrical lab test equipment such as DMM's and oscillioscopesExperience with communication protocols such as GPIB (IEEE 488.2), RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, I2C, and CAN BusExcellent written and verbal communcation as well as interpersonal skills will be required to effectively present ideas to peers, management, and outside customersKnowledge in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Visio, and Power PointSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis is a non-supervisory positionPhysical DemandsGeneral office skills and dexterity are required.
