Located in Elk Grove Village, IL, OHi continues to build legacies in our community through superior home improvements.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Design Assistant based in Elk Grove Village, IL. The Design Assistant will provide support to an architectural designer, assist with project planning, create visual presentations using Chief Architect software, and support in material selection and design coordination. Responsibilities also include maintaining clear communication with clients and team members, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring design projects are executed to the highest quality standards.QualificationsExcellent Communication and Customer Service skillsProficiency in Interior Design techniques and workflowsExperience with Chief ArchitectDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilitiesAbility to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented on-site environmentBachelor’s degree or certification in Interior Design or a related field is preferredKnowledge of home renovation processes and materials is a plus
