The Research Pharmacy Technician will support the clinical research team by managing investigational drugs, ensuring proper storage and handling, and assisting in the preparation and dispensing of study medications. Your role will contribute to the safe and effective administration of therapies in clinical trials.Location: Lenexa, KS USAHours: Full-Time; Monday – Friday 6:30/7:00am arrival time (occasional evenings/weekends as needed)What You Will Be DoingCompiles investigational medicinal products (IMP) for patients and clinical studiesProcesses physician’s IMP ordersOrganizes, labels and packages investigational medicinal productsCompound sterile products for IV administrationMonitors facility safety procedures to ensure regulatory complianceWorks as an operator or verifier in a manufacturing environmentCleans manufacturing areas and equipment to ensure safety guidelines and regulations are metHas materials sterilized when used in a sterile environmentSupports material receipt, warehouse managementSupports completing process of study bindersYour ProfileCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and registered with the Kansas Board of Pharmacy (KSBoP)1-2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, with needle/syringe experience preparing intravenous dosingDetail oriented with an ability to follow precise instructionsStrong communication skills with an ability to work with a teamExperience with sterile compounding (preferred)Clinical research experience and familiarity with investigational drug protocols (preferred)Ability to work early mornings (6:30/7:00am arrival time), plus occasional evenings and weekendsWhat ICON Can Offer YouOur success depends on the quality of our people.
