The Superintendent works closely with the Lead Superintendent, project management team, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain efficient site operations and uphold quality standards.This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain a safe and productive jobsite.Key ResponsibilitiesField OperationsManage daily jobsite activities and field personnel under the direction of the Lead Superintendent.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews.Ensure construction work complies with project plans, specifications, and applicable building codes.Assist with development and maintenance of project schedules.Monitor work progress and proactively address delays or conflicts.Site CoordinationConduct daily jobsite meetings and subcontractor coordination.Ensure proper sequencing of trades to maintain project schedule.Coordinate deliveries, staging, and site logistics.Maintain clean and organized jobsite conditions.SafetyEnforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.Conduct regular safety meetings and jobsite inspections.Identify and mitigate safety risks immediately.Ensure all subcontractors comply with site safety requirements.Quality ControlMonitor workmanship to ensure adherence to project specifications.Coordinate inspections and testing requirements.Identify deficiencies and ensure timely correction.Documentation & ReportingMaintain daily job logs and field reports.Track manpower, equipment, and material deliveries.Document issues, delays, RFIs, and field changes.Communicate project updates to the Lead Superintendent and Project Manager.Team CollaborationSupport the Lead Superintendent in overall project execution.Work closely with project managers, engineers, and design teams.Foster a collaborative and professional jobsite environment.QualificationsRequired3–8+ years of construction field supervision experience.Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and jobsite coordination.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades.Strong leadership and communication skills.Proficiency with construction management software and field reporting tools.OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).PreferredExperience in commercial, multifamily, or large-scale residential construction.Experience with scheduling software (Procore, Primavera, MS Project, etc.).First Aid / CPR certification.Physical RequirementsAbility to walk active jobsites for extended periods.Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and navigate uneven terrain.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.CompensationCompetitive salary based on experience.Performance-based bonus opportunities.BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees and their families:Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) with manager approvalHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with company matchLife and Disability InsuranceCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceTechnology allowance (phone/tablet/laptop as required)Paid holidaysProfessional development and training opportunitiesEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
