GCP Architect - Remote

TGCP Cloud Architect Forward Deployed Engineering About the Role We are looking for a hands-on GCP Cloud Architect / Forward Deployed Engineer to own the end-to-end architecture, deployment and operational resilience of our Google Cloud platform. In this role you will act as both architect and builder—taking the platform from Day 0 to deploying production-ready infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code IaC establishing robust SRE observability practices and powering our Agentic AI Solution Platform Keyy Responsibilities Day 0 GCP Architecture Setup Establish enterprise-grade GCP landing zones from scratch, including Organization Structure, IAM Networking VPC Shared VPC Firewalls Private Service Connect and Security controls Infrastructuree as Code IaCSRE Reliability Engineering Establish Site Reliability Engineering frameworks from the ground up defining SLIs SLOs, and SLAs error budgets runbooks automated incident management, and failover/disaster recovery strategies Monitoring Observability Setup Architect complete telemetry stacks using GCP Cloud Monitoring Logging alongside tools like Prometheus Grafana Open Telemetry or Datadog to monitor host container and application metrics Hands on experience with Google Cloud Operations Suite Cloud Monitoring Cloud Logging distributed tracing alerting frameworks and end to end observability solutions for infrastructure applications and AI workloads High Availability Disaster Recovery Experience designing and implementing Multi Zone and Multi Region architectures, API security best practices and Zero Trust access controls across cloud-native and Agentic AI platforms requirements into scalable reliable platform architecture Required Qualifications Experience GCP Architecture 6 8 years of experience designing operating and automating cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform GCP Professional Cloud Architect credential preferred Hands on Experience on Similar Projects Neen minimum 3 projects which are prodcutionized at enterprise scale on top of GCP cloud which reflect the experiences captured below Terraform Mastery Deep experience building enterprise GCP environments exclusively through Terraform modules and IaC pipelines Networking Security Strong understanding of VPC architecture security posture management IAM Secrets Manager, and KMS DevOps Scripting Proficiency with Bash Python Docker and standard CI CD tooling
