Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is "On-Site" at the location detailed in the job post.Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to support proposal efforts, continuous improvement efforts and strategic initiatives.What You Will Be DoingResponsible For Several Aspects Of Quality Including Understanding quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software,systems, suppliers / sub-contractors, and customers. Ability to learn proposals, Basis of Estimate (BOE) and contract review. Collaborate and partner with other functions including Program Manager, Proposal Manager, Contracts, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production and Customers. Support program proposals, strategic initiatives, and a variety of projects aimed at improving processes. Assist in establishing quality budgets and cost commitments. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
