Blue Moon Beer Garden will bring a relaxed, open-air gathering space to Stateside Live!, offering a fresh take on the classic beer garden experience. Designed for casual meetups and game-day pre- and post-parties. With its laid-back atmosphere and vibrant energy, Blue Moon Beer Garden will serve as a go-to destination.Bartender Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Provide an energetic, outgoing, fun personality while maintaining professionalism.* Perform varied duties to ensure all aspects of the proper steps of service.* Offer polite, professional, and courteous customer service.* Communicate effectively with co-workers and guests.* Mix ingredients and prepare cocktails and other drinks according to drink recipe.* Serve wine, and bottled or draft beer.* Take beverage orders from serving staff or from guests.* Communicate effectively, clearly, patiently and humorously with co-workers and guests.* Complete all side work as assigned.* Be well-versed in the products in order to guide the guest experience and sell food and beverage items.* Check guests' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption.* Present and encourage current promotions to guests.* Accurately record and account for all items ordered and secure payment from guest.* Accurately account for all sales and receipts and record tips as outlined in company policies and procedures.Bartender Qualifications:* At least 1-2 years experience with bartending at high volume bars and/or nightclubs.* Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments.* Formal bartending training preferred.* Must meet state legal age requirements.* Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred.* Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests, cooks, wait staff, and supervisors.* Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency.* Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when taking orders, completing paperwork, etc.* Mathematical skills, including basic math are used frequently.* May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.The Bartender position requires the ability to perform the following:* Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
