Geotechnical/Waterfront Staff Engineer

Staff Engineer FR Engineering Group is a geotechnical and waterfront engineering company based out of Warwick, Rhode Island. We are searching for a Geotechnical/Waterfront Engineer with 0 to 3 years of experience. Candidates must be interested in both geotechnical and waterfront engineering. Compensation will be based on past experience. Work will mainly entail: · Conducting subsurface investigations (borings, test pits, ect.) · Helping prepare geotechnical reports · Construction observation (pile installation, earthwork observation, waterfront structures, vibration monitoring, compaction testing, ect.) · Design and calculations of geotechnical and waterfront structures (retaining walls, sea walls, bulkheads, piles, revetments, tiebacks, slope stability ect.) · Inspection of existing structures (waterfront structures, buildings, dams, ect.) · Drafting · Help preparing proposals Requirements for candidates include: · BS Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering · Passed the FE Exam (preferred) and plans on pursuing PE licensure in future · Excellent writing and communication skills · Well organized · Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel · Proficient in AutoCAD (preferred) · Willing to work outside · Valid driver’s license Benefits: · Paid time off · Yearly bonus potential · Medical and dental insurance · Life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance · 401(k) · One of the most well-rounded experiences you can get FR Engineering Group is an equal opportunity employer/veterans/disabled.
