Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Elyria, OH, for Certified Chemical Dependency Counselors or CDCA II . Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing one-on-one and group counseling sessions, maintaining accurate client records, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support client recovery. The role also involves fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment while adhering to professional and ethical standards. Qualifications Certification as a CDCA II or Counselor in substance use treatmentExperience in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing counseling servicesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and team membersKnowledge of addiction and recovery best practices, as well as relevant ethical and regulatory standardsAbility to maintain accurate documentation and client records with high attention to detailCompassion, reliability, and a client-centered approach to careBachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field is preferredExperience in a rehabilitation or substance use treatment setting is a plus
