SMNJ - RN ED - Traveler
Possess a current and valid state RN License Hold up-to-date BLS, ACLS, PALS, EDAP 1 and 2, and BVP (MAB) certifications Stroke Certification and COVID vaccination/boosters are preferred Responsible for delivering safe patient care by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel Maintains standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry Directly responsible and accountable for the care given to patients in the Emergency Department Communicates with physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology Capable of responding quickly and accurately to changes in patient's condition and/or response to treatment Knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations Responsible for reporting child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies and Hospital Social Worker Upholds patient privacy and confidentiality.
