Duties Prepare and assemble a variety of menu items with speed and accuracy, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation Assist in menu planning by offering input on ingredients, portion sizes, and presentation styles to enhance customer satisfaction Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure all meals are safe and hygienic Support kitchen operations by managing food prep stations, cooking dishes, and ensuring timely service during busy periods Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to health regulations Contribute to food handling processes such as portioning, packaging, and storing ingredients properly for freshness and safety Collaborate with team members in catering events or special meal preparations to deliver outstanding service experiences Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments with strong kitchen experience Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation techniques, and food industry standards Skilled in food handling practices including knife skills, food safety procedures, and sanitation standards Experience with catering services or large-scale food service operations is a plus Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively within a fast-paced kitchen setting Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their culinary expertise while making a positive impact through exceptional food service.
