For assistance on how to apply, please click hereJob DescriptionPosition SummaryThis position is responsible for providing accurate and timely mixing, hauling, spreading, and application of liquid and dry fertilizer and farm chemicals for customers; this may include non-farm applications.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand product label specifications and operational procedures/standards for custom applicationUtilize the information supplied and the technology in the application equipment to ensure that the right products at the right rates are applied to the right fields and customers.Complete and deliver timely and proper applicator logs, delivery paperwork, field application forms, and other paperwork to appropriate personnel and customers Perform daily inspection of equipment prior to field application and post applicationHandle and deliver bulk and packaged materials, seed, and other agriculture inputsAssist in regular facility duties including basic equipment maintenance and housekeeping What is expected of you and others at this levelHas basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational processWorks within clearly defined standard operations procedures and or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelinesWorks with close supervisionEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred0-2 years’ relevant experience requiredMust be able to maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving recordCurrent Class A CDL or ability to obtainCurrent Commercial Applicator license or ability to obtain Prior agriculture experience preferred Physical Requirements And Working EnvironmentWill be required to work long hours and overtime to meet seasonal demandsMust be able to stand for an extended period of timeAbility to frequently lift/push/pull up to 75 poundsMust be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 180 feetWorks indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperaturesWorking conditions could include dust, fumes, moderate noise and uneven surfacesThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
