About the RoleThe Logistics Cluster Lead (Local CPG's) role will be instrumental to deliver reliable service and drive stickiness with our customers to enable long-term growth.The role will heavily interact with commercial/sales leaders/site logistics/3PLs in the markets and key customers to generate deep insights to support the country cluster strategic priorities. Taking accountability for driving performance improvements in local supply chain activities and to deliver improved service and cost-to-serve.This role will play a pivotal role in partnering with the respective Country cluster CSC Director to deliver upon the country cluster customer service & volume objectives and enable growth by driving excellence in execution and building strong relationships across the internal & external network (enabling the Next Level operating model)Primary focus is on supporting the commercial business development of the country cluster by delivering reliable and responsiveness service for logistics at sites and distribution sites.Owns and develops the Country cluster logistics strategy and route to market by identifying and balancing key drivers from an economic, industry, customer and competitive landscape perspectivePartnership with and leverage the GBS process towers & site logistics teams and act as an advocate for E2E integration and efficiencyActive relationship management and engagement with central planning & logistics functions, regional supply chain teams and operations. Primary point of contact for all logistic related items in the Country cluster.Ensures local market intelligence and day-to-day operations are in line with global, regional and local goals (e.g. SLAs, budgets, lead times, ...)Owns the Cluster country logistics & service levelActively participates in the demand validation and sign-off of the Country cluster CSC DirectorDevelops joint business plans with key customers and enables customer intimacy & proximitySupports the development of robust weekly plans and forecast consumption assumptions; leads the country cluster logistics discussions in partnership with Country cluster CSC Director. Actively participates in the demand validation and sign-off of the Country cluster CSC Director.Be the SPOC of the Country cluster for any Global/Regional logistics projectsEnsure Global/Regional processes and policies are implemented and adhered toSupport with regional warehouse and transportation needs with Head of Logistics and the network strategy.Job Responsibilities IncludeScopeDedicated regional cluster logistics unit for Global CPG@185,000mT of annual sales volume~80 Global Customers and ~400+ SKUsCountry cluster logistics budget of approx. 50 million CHFService level, inventory and perfect order objectives in logistics supportOversees country cluster logisticsIn Partnership with Country cluster CSC Director Inputs in monitoring market/customer intelligence and forecast enrichmentsSupport supply balancing activities related to demand shaping (and S&OEs)Agree on a final S&OP and Budget demand plan and critical points to be escalated/resolved for Country clusterAlign with commercial teams key NPI and promotions/activationsProvide logistics demand visibility to the Head of Logistics to ensure capacity with carriersDeliver performance reviews & intakes with Head of LogisticsMonitors adherence to OTIF and carrier performanceOversees regional implementation of S&OP and S&OE decisions for logistics performanceOversees country cluster DC logisticsInbound deliveries, finished goods shipping and product pickupsManages transport & delivery issuesTransportation for liquid/solid transportationCustoms processing3PL performance monitoring & tracking for logistics budget & drives logistics productivity and improvement projectsPartner with Head of Logistics and Local distribution strategy and warehouse needs (cost to serve)Oversees country cluster order fulfillment (logistics and customer care)Order management (execution and invoicing)3rd party operations and root cause analysis for refusals/returnsTransport purchase and invoicing, incl. effective reporting for refusals/returnsRecall strategy and product recalls (in close alignment with Crisis management teams)Order changes / cancellations and resolution of customer complaints and logisticsImplementation and follow-up of agreed customer SLAsKey stakeholder exchange, and action plans based on customer performance reviewsSupervises the handle of product availability (i.e. escalations, shortages)Supervises the management of incomplete ordersOwns service level review and problem breakdown analysis for service hits for logisticsDirects GBS logistics process teamsAbout YouBachelors in any business / supply chain disciplineProficient in English.
