Senior Interior Designer - 5* Hospitality

Connexa Recruitment are working in partnership with a collaborative and forward-thinking architecture team delivering impactful projects across civic, healthcare, education, hospitality, and recreation sectors.We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead interior design components for 5* hospitality-focused projects across a range of High End/Luxury project types.Is ideal for a professional with a strong foundation in design, documentation, and project leadership within a collaborative team environment.You’ll contribute to project outcomes across all phases, and support design quality, client relationships, and team performance, with an emphasis on creating thoughtful, high-quality guest environments.What You’ll Do:Lead interior design components, including concepts, space planning, and finish palettes with a focus on hospitality environments and guest experienceOversee design development and production of construction documents, including plans, elevations, millwork, and schedulesTranslate client and brand requirements into cohesive, functional, and high-quality design solutionsCoordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and contractors across all project phasesEnsure alignment between design intent, documentation, and overall project outcomesSupport construction administration efforts, including site visits, submittals, and RFIsResearch and specify furniture, finishes, and materials, including FF&E selection and coordination, with attention to durability, budget, and aestheticsLead client presentations and support communication throughout the project lifecycleMentor and guide junior staff while contributing to overall team organization and project deliveryContribute to design standards, best practices, and continuous improvement within the studioWhat We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related fieldTypically 7+ years of professional interior design experienceNCIDQ Certification preferredProficiency in Revit; strong visual communication and presentation skillsExperience leading projects across multiple phases, from concept through constructionExperience with hospitality design and/or brand-driven environments preferredStrong understanding of materials, detailing, and interior building systemsExcellent communication, organization, and leadership skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively
