General Engineer (Facility)

Duties:Projects assigned require the application or adaptation of established methods, precedents and sound practical judgment in multi-discipline engineering work.Ensures minimum safety standards for planning, developing, and designing new airfield facilities.Complies with health, safety, environmental rules and procedures and performs duties in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment.Ensures Federal and local codes concerning health, safety, and environment are strictly adhered to in planning, programming, design and construction of airfield related and real property facilities.Plans, designs, inspects, constructs, maintains structures and facilities that provide shelter and support transportation systems.
