Job Description Python Specialist Location: Austin, Texas, United States Hire Type: Fixed Term (6 months, eligible for worker benefits) Department: Technology Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Python professional with a strong understanding of technology domains and excellent client-facing abilities. This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by engaging with clients, gathering requirements, and building efficient automation solutions. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams-including business units, technology teams, and data platform owners. You will play a critical role in accelerating the delivery of transformation outcomes through well-governed and fit-for-purpose activities. ResponsibilitiesEngage with clients to understand business requirements, workflows, and pain pointsTranslate business requirements into technical solutions and automation strategiesDesign, develop, and implement automation solutions using Python, SQLCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutionsAnalyze existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimizationPartner with transformation program teams to understand business objectives and identify order-related automation needs amongst other functional areas (e.g., customer, product, finance, supplier, inventory, employee, etc.). Eligibility RequirementsStrong proficiency in Python programmingSolid understanding of technology ecosystems (APIs, databases, system integrations, etc.)Experience in process automation (e.g., scripting, RPA, workflow automation tools)Ability to gather and interpret client requirements effectivelyExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProblem-solving mindset with attention to detailFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or related field.5+ years of experience in similar roles with cross-functional collaborationPreferred Qualifications:Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Airflow, Selenium, UiPath, etc.)Exposure to data processing, ETL pipelines, or analytics workflowsPrior experience in a client-facing or consulting roleUnderstanding of data architecture concepts In the US, the target base salary for this role is upto $180,000. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
