Senior Project Manager – Healthcare ConstructionAbout the RoleWe are working with a well-established General Contractor in Miami that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee healthcare renovation construction projects across South Florida.This is a key leadership position for someone with a strong background delivering healthcare or hospital renovation construction projects in occupied healthcare facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects from preconstruction through closeout, managing client relationships, coordinating internal teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the overall planning, coordination, and delivery of healthcare construction projects.Manage projects from preconstruction, estimating, procurement, and buyout through construction and closeout.Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and financial reporting.Act as the main point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.Work closely with Superintendents to ensure field operations align with schedule, budget, safety, and quality requirements.Lead project meetings and provide clear updates on progress, risks, cost impacts, and schedule changes.Manage subcontractor performance, scope coordination, procurement timelines, and contract compliance.Identify project risks early and develop proactive solutions to keep projects moving forward.Ensure all work is completed in accordance with healthcare-specific requirements, infection control standards, life safety, phasing, and occupied facility protocols.Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally throughout the project lifecycle.Support mentoring and development of Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other project team members.RequirementsProven experience as Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with a General Contractor.Minimum 5 years delivering healthcare construction projects, including hospitals, medical office buildings, clinics, surgical centers, laboratories, or occupied healthcare environments.Experience managing projects from preconstruction through final closeout.Strong understanding of construction contracts, project financials, scheduling, subcontractor management, procurement, and change management.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in fast-paced, technical construction environments.Experience working on occupied healthcare facilities, phased renovations, AHCA-related projects, or infection control-sensitive environments is highly desirable.Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.What’s on OfferOpportunity to join a respected General Contractor with a strong pipeline of healthcare work in South Florida.Senior leadership role with direct client interaction and ownership of major projects.Competitive compensation package.Long-term career growth opportunities.Collaborative team environment with strong support from operations, preconstruction, and field leadership.
