ROLE DESCRIPTION:This could be a fantastic opportunity for a recent college graduate to gain experience in the always in-demand field of insurance. This internship is for our New Client Acquisition Team, and is a paid position offering 25-30 hrs weekly during the first 90 days. For the right candidate, we will pay for your insurance license coursework, and each day you will be given 1hr of paid time to study for your State Examination along with 4-5 hrs of real world experience focused on practical outbound call-time with coaching.RESPONSIBILITIES:Make outbound calls to prospective customers to connect them with a licensed representative who can further assist them.Txt and email follow-up information behind previously quoted householdsAssist in entering basic prospect information into our computer system for follow-up by our sales teamPrepare regular reports on call activity, lead generation, and appointment scheduling.Aggressively expand your knowledge and pursue your State Licenses for Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance QUALIFICATIONS: Motivated self-starter is a mustGreat verbal and written communicationComfortable and Confident reaching out to offer products and servicesSTRONGLY prefer a candidate with a minimum of an AA degree, preferably a Bachelor's DegreeNo Post Graduate experience requiredProfessional conduct and appearance PAY & BENEFITS TO CANDIDATEFixed Pay Rate of $15/hrActivity and Results Based Incentives which could boost income by $5-15/hrPaid State Licenses ($1500 -$2500 in value)Paid time to StudySuccessful completion of 90-180 Day Internship Program will likely lead to a Full-Time employment offer with full benefits (Retirement, Health Insurance, PTO)
