Different shift assignments allow for flexibility and safety.As a Production Fill Operator, you will be responsible for performance of tasks related to drug formulation, weighing, cleaning mix complex, tanks and equipment, distilled water sanitization, filter integrity testing and documentation. As well as machine set-up operation and adjustments, which includes batch changeover, sterilization, cleaning and batch documentation. Working in a cleanroom is essential to delivering life-saving therapies.What You'll Be Doing Run Galaxy MachineSet up equipmentPerform sterilizationManagement of Datalogger outputTroubleshoot alarmsPerforming tasks related to the operation of different equipment used in the mix and fill process, which may include the use of tools like calipers, scales, gauges, and other measuring devicesMake process adjustment in accordance with GMP's and Plant ProceduresResponsible for In-Process inspections and all related documentation in accordance to specificationsIssue ports, build embosser, clean pressure vesselPerform line clearancesBuild and perform integrity testing on all production sterilizing filtersMaintain area housekeepingPerform drop sanitizationOvertime may be requiredWhat You'll Bring Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin DrugsHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required, experience in GMP MfgVisual acuity 20/25 Near Vision with or without corrective vision requiredMust be able to understand, speak, read and write English in order to align with vital SOP's, SPEC's, Job-specific training materials, GMP's, and other manualsRequires the use of and troubleshooting of the label and directional insert dispensing equipmentPreferably 6+ months of experience with technical/mechanical machine operatingGood documentation skills and computer skillsBasic math skills requiredCandidates will be required to pass a job placement examination which test the physical capabilities to perform the certain functions of a jobComfortable to wear protective equipment with a respirator, and work in confined spacesComfortable with working with pressurized equipment, -25o to -70o F room temperature, working with hot surfaces, and wet environmentWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a pay rate of $28.20 an hour.This is a 12 hour 2-2-3 shift schedule.Night Shift from 6:00pm to 6:30am.Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
