Teamwork, then this career opportunity is for you!!Safety Sensitive PositionJob DescriptionResponsibilities:Set up safe work zones with proper equipment.Communicate with your crew to keep everyone safe.Control traffic flow.Providing outstanding service and protection to customersReceive continuous development and guidance.Protect the company's employees, customers, and assets against losses, injuries, and accidents through enforcement of safe work practices.Develop relationships with internal and external customers to achieve goals and new business opportunities.Become a subject matter expert in work zone setup/design and professional flagging.Setting up safe work zones with proper equipmentCommunicating with your crew to keep everyone safe.Controlling traffic flowProviding outstanding service and protection to customersReceiving continuous development and guidanceOther duties as assigned.QualificationsPrevious experience in an outdoor labor setting, i.e., Traffic Control, Landscaping, Manufacturing, Construction, Utilities, Military, or Skilled Operator2+ Years Traffic Control Experience / ATSSA CertificateTMA DriverTCS Certification PreferredFamiliarity with a client-based scheduleValid state driver's licenseSteel Toed or Composite Toed BootsComfortable standing 8-12 hours a dayAbility to lift 50-60 lbs.Accustomed to working in all types of weather, and in traffic.Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including a drug test.Additional InformationMinimum Requirements:Valid AZ Driver's License with a motor vehicle report that meets company guidelinesMust be able to read and write EnglishGood Communication skills.Competitive Hourly Pay: $18.00AWP considers any position that requires the individual to drive an AWP vehicle and/or be present at an AWP worksite for any reason a safety sensitive position.AWP Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
