Inside Sales Representative

Location: Portland, ORRole SummaryKeystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is currently hiring an Inside Sales Representative for our Portland, OR location. Are you a motivated professional with a passion for customer service and knowledge of the automotive aftermarket? In this role, you will contribute to our customer experience by building relationships with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and providing expert guidance on products and services. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and customer satisfaction drive success.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct outbound phone sales calls to established customer base, promoting sales of new and existing products & services.Conduct daily maintenance of CRM database to ensure all customer/account information is accurate and current.Perform analysis of individual customer base to determine causes for customer growth and/or declineContinuously augmenting your product and industry knowledge through company and supplier training and self-directed learning.Provide front-line incoming phone queue support, including technical supportProper entry of quotes and orders.Serve as the initial point of contact for all customer service-related issues/concernsBuild long-lasting business relationships with the customer baseMaintain daily phone metric standards established by the management teamInitiate and support the continual improvement of LKQ and Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc.'s quality improvement system.Additional ResponsibilitiesProvide a positive customer service experience that includes anticipating and evaluating the customer's needs while answering questions about parts, pricing, product availability, and company services.Provide relevant information on warranties, price, quality of parts, delivery times, and payment methods.Accurately complete supporting order documentation Cultivate new business by prospecting and developing relationships with potential customers.Contact customers with unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information as needed.Advise the customer on substitution or modification of the part when the part requested is not available.Process orders -- perform order entry, review orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data.Independently evaluate criteria and propose an appropriate price for parts Assume other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications1+ years of related applicable call center experience.HS Diploma or equivalent.Solid Microsoft Office experienceStrong time management and organization skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrates attention to detail and accuracy in work assignments.Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with customersAbility to thrive in a group/team environmentFlexible to work variable schedules, if needed.Ability to work under pressure comfortably.Ability to travel, up to 10%, for customer visits or trade showsWill show up on time, as scheduledPreferred QualificationsAutomotive aftermarket industry experience.Some college coursework/degree preferred.Prior sales or account management experienceExperience in training / educating people (Example: Teaching your customer how to use online/system features)Work EnvironmentWork is primarily sedentary: you must be able to sit for extended periods of time and frequently use a computer, keyboard, and mouse.Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Who We AreKeystone Automotive Operations is North America's leading distributor of specialty automotive aftermarket, RV, and marine parts and accessories.
