Regional Senior Accountant -- Idaho/Montana/Wyoming

Duties And ResponsibilitiesWork safely and take action to prevent all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviorsPrepare regular balance sheet reconciliations including subledger to ledger, intercompany, cash, and othersUse Excel to prepare journal entries, analyze for reasonability, post to JDE, then reviewWork under SOX controls and track complianceResearch and resolve issues working with operations and other accounting staffSupport the Assistant Controller in any accounting functions as neededCoordinate efforts on projects including new software initiatives, operational accounting support, regional standardization, etc.Find ways to improve processesMust maintain confidentiality of financial dataMust always maintain the highest level of moral and ethical standardsContribute to a collaborative team environment with a positive attitude and solid work ethicMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting and 5+ years of relevant experienceWell-developed analytical, accounting, and financial skillsHigh ethical and moral standardsMeticulous attention to accuracy and detailPreferred Requirements Experience in the construction industryExperience with reconciliations, journal entries, and month end close processKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesProficient in ExcelExperience with JDE or other ERP systemsSolid problem solvingClear oral and written communicationGood time management and organizationPracticed in self-motivationHow To ApplyYou may apply online at http://jobs.kniferiver.netIf Unable To Apply Online, Mail Completed Application To5450 W.
