Exciting opportunity for an experienced, compassionate and caring Staff Pharmacist to work part time in a HIV specialty healthcare center based pharmacy.Schedule would be one day every other week, Fridays are preferred but the day can be flexible.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for performing all of the dispensing duties of a pharmacist, that all customers receive safe and accurate dispensing, and for adhering to all State and Federal Pharmacy laws regarding the dispensing of medications, record keeping, etc. Successful candidate will also be responsible for expanding and enhancing clinical servicesEducationBachelor's degree, or Pharm. D., from an approved school of pharmacy and registration by the state board of licensure.Licensed to practice pharmacy in MissouriExperienceMinimum of one-year experience as a practicing pharmacist is required.Knowledge of drugs and their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration.Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.Knowledge of polices and regulations pertaining to the disbursement of pharmaceutical drugs.Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.Ability to supervise and train assigned staff.Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.Ability to assume essential responsibilities and duties in the absence of the Pharmacy ManagerExciting opportunity for an experienced, compassionate and caring Pharmacist to work per diem (PRN) at this clinic based pharmacy located in Springfield, MO.
