Job description:Work Type: Hybrid in Raleigh, NCContract Length: 12 month contractTelecom Engineer III - Optical Transport EngineerHybrid - must be local to Raleigh and onsite 3 days a week in the downtown office working with the Agile delivery team**Must have Optical Transport Engineer experience w/ Ciena (Nokia would be secondary)Top skills needed - Telecom backhaul network engineering; carrier transport engineering; optical transport engineering; carrier network implementation and support; Ciena product design, configuration, implementation, and supportDescription:The Telecom Delivery - Carolinas East team in Raleigh is currently seeking an individual with Optical Transport engineering and project delivery experience to join its team. The Senior Transport Engineer will be responsible for carrier transport engineering and designs for backhaul communications leveraging multiple technologies including private optical, microwave, cellular, and 3rd party carrier circuits.
