Job Title: SR Java Backend / Full Stack Developer LEADLocation: Whippany, NJ (minimum 3 days onsite)Duration: 6 months ContractJob Description:We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong backend expertise and some exposure to full-stack development. The role primarily focuses on backend services (~75%) with additional responsibilities in front-end development using Angular (~25%).Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring BootBuild and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices architectureParticipate in system design, code reviews, and technical discussionsDevelop responsive UI components using AngularCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and business stakeholdersEnsure high performance, security, and scalability of applicationsTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systemsRequired Skills:Strong experience in Java (8/11/17+), Spring Boot, and MicroservicesExperience with REST APIs and backend system designHands-on experience with Angular (frontend development)Good understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL)Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging systemsExperience with CI/CD tools and Agile methodologiesPreferred Skills:Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
