Human Resources Generalist

Position: HR Generalist Duration: Full-Time Location: Tampa, FL -Starts off fully onsite, remote flex will increase with tenure Salary: 55-60KStart Date: ASAPInterview Process: One and done onsite interviewBenefits: Health, vision, dental, generous PTO, 401 and 401K matchingMust Haves:3-5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, or related role.Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.Experience working for mid-sized companies (50-100 people preferred).Background in full-cycle recruiting & onboarding.Experience in payroll management and benefits administration.ADP (HRIS Platform).Comfortable taking on additional responsibilities in employee relations, HR compliance, reporting, and performance management. Pluses:Bilingual in English and Spanish.Previous experience in the legal or financial services sector. Day to Day:Recruiting & Onboarding (Primary Focus)Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles (intake, sourcing, screening, coordination, offer)Proactively source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, and other tools to build strong pipelinesPartner with hiring managers to drive prompt hiring decisions and reduce time-to-fillEnsure a smooth and prompt onboarding process, including pre-employment requirements and new hire setupMaintain accurate and up-to-date candidate activity and records in HR systems (e.g., ADP)Payroll ManagementManage and coordinate payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and prompt submissionReview payroll reports, audit for discrepancies, and partner with finance as neededEnsure compliance with payroll policies, wage and hour laws, and internal controlsMaintain payroll-related documentation and support reporting requirementsEmployee RelationsServe as a point of contact for employee questions and concernsSupport investigations, documentation, and resolution of employee issuesPartner with managers to address performance concerns and provide guidanceHR Operations & ComplianceMaintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRISEnsure compliance with company policies and employment lawsSupport audits, reporting, and documentation as neededPerformance & EngagementSupport performance management processes (reviews, documentation, tracking)Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and HR communicationsBenefits AdministrationAssist employees with benefits-related questions and enrollment supportCoordinate with vendors and support open enrollment processesAdministrative Support & Additional DutiesProvide general administrative support to the HR function and leadership as neededAssist with scheduling, documentation, reporting, and maintenance of HR trackersSupport special projects and cross-functional initiativesPerform other HR and administrative duties as required to support business operations
