Position: Speech Language PathologistSalary Range: $45-$50 per hourHours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (no weekend rotation)Facility: 97-bed skilled nursing facility (SNF) on a beautiful campusJob Description:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join a 97-bed skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients improve their speech and language abilities, as well as a strong understanding of the unique needs of the geriatric population.Responsibilities:Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech and language disordersProvide therapy sessions to patients in accordance with their treatment plansMonitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededCollaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care to patientsEducate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication and maintaining progressMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordsStay current on advancements and best practices in speech language pathologyQualifications:Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited programCurrent state license or eligibility for state licensureMinimum of 2 years of experience in a SNF setting preferredExperience working with geriatric population preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamStrong organizational and time management skills
