This role will support data exploration, modeling, and reporting to better understand patron behavior, ticket sales, donations, and marketing effectiveness.The intern will work closely with the data, marketing, and development teams to transform complex transactional data into actionable insights that support audience growth and engagement.By the end of the internship, the intern will have hands-on experience working with real-world CRM and ticketing datasets in the arts and nonprofit sector, and will be able to translate technical analyses into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.Key Responsibilities Extract, clean, and analyze data from Tessitura and related systems Explore patron behavior including ticket purchases, donations, subscriptions, and engagement history Build analytical datasets and features from transactional CRM data Develop predictive or exploratory models (e.g., churn risk, donor likelihood, attendance forecasting) Create dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders Partner with marketing and development teams to support audience segmentation and campaign analysis Document data pipelines, modeling approaches, and findings Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field Experience with Python or R for data analysis Familiarity with SQL and relational databases Experience with data wrangling and exploratory data analysis Ability to communicate insights clearly What We Offer Hands-on experience in a non-profit, arts, and educational organization Technical skills related to the industry Mentorship from experienced staff and educators A supportive and dynamic work environment Paid internship Schedule & Commitment Hours : 20 hours per week Flexibility : Interns will collaborate with their supervisor to establish a schedule that balances departmental needs with their personal or academic calendar Availability : In-person on weekdays, Monday through Friday Location: 3 Columbus Circle Jazz at Lincoln Center is an equal opportunity employer that affords equal opportunities to all applicants, employees, contractors, and other covered persons, and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
