Executive Chef
We are hiring a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef to join our team in Akron, Canada for a seasonal position. As an Executive Chef you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation and staff management. Your main goal will be to ensure that our guests have an exceptional dining experience by delivering high‑quality dishes that showcase our Canadian cuisine.
Responsibilities Develop and create innovative menus that reflect local and seasonal ingredients
Oversee all food preparation to maintain high quality and consistency
Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to food safety standards
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Collaborate with suppliers to source fresh local ingredients
Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure a clean and organized workspace
Create special menus for events or catering services
Requirements Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high‑end restaurant or hotel setting
Knowledge of Canadian cuisine and familiarity with local ingredients
Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
Ability to handle high‑pressure situations and work well under deadlines
Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
