Your Areas of Impact:1. Strategic Evolution of Algorithms & WorkflowsRefining Logic: Lead the further development and clinical optimization of our existing medical underwriting algorithms.Product Roadmap: Work together with the Product Owner to prioritize medical enhancements and translate business requirements into medical logic.Scale & Accuracy: Ensure our underwriting engine remains state-of-the-art and adaptable for various international markets.2. Data Synergy & Evidence-Based LogicCollaborative Analysis: Partner closely with our Data Team to validate medical assumptions against real-world data and refine our predictive models.Data-Driven Insights: Use clinical expertise to help the data team interpret health trends and incorporate these findings into our underwriting tools.3. Medical Risk Assessment & AdvisoryExpert Judgment: Provide high-level medical expertise to assess complex health conditions and translate them into sustainable underwriting risks.Internal Authority: Act as the primary medical consultant for our product teams, offering clarity on diagnoses, symptoms, and global medical developments.4. Innovation & Quality AssuranceContinuous QA: Regularly execute and oversee quality assurance processes for our tools to maintain the highest level of clinical integrity.E-Health Trends: Keep the team ahead of the curve by monitoring international e-health innovations and integrating new clinical standards into our systems. Your Profile:Education: University degree in Human MedicineExperience: 3+ years of professional experience in (strategy) consulting or within the Health Insurance sector (e.g., medical risk management, product development, or digital health).Cross-Functional Expert: You have a proven track record of working effectively with Product Owners and technical teams. You speak "medicine" and "product" fluently.Data Affinity: You have a strong understanding of medical data analysis. Experience with R, Python, or similar tools is a significant advantage, as is the ability to communicate complex medical concepts to a data team.Analytical Strength: Excellent conceptual skills with the ability to think in "logical trees" and structured workflows.Independence: A proactive "owner" personality who thrives in a fast-paced environment with flat hierarchies.Languages: Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and German are required.
