WHO are we looking for?CAPTRUST is seeking a Data Analyst Associate who will support data-driven decision-making across the organization by developing analytical datasets, performing exploratory and structured analysis, and delivering trusted reporting and insights. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical foundation, interest in modern analytics platforms, and a desire to develop technical depth in analytics, data modeling, and visualization.Job Responsibilities:Develop and maintain analytical data models, reports, and dashboards using Power BIPerform data analysis using SQL and analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and data quality issues to support business decision-makingLeverage foundational data science concepts, such as exploratory analysis and basic statistics, to help interpret data and support business insightsAssist in documenting data models, metrics, report logic, and data visualization standards to promote transparency, reuse, and consistencyCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data requirementsIdentify opportunities for data process automation and contribute to implementing automated ETL solutionsEngage regularly with business teams to champion data best practices and self-service analytics across the firmMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field or relevant years of experiencStrong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, R, Python or advanced Excel skills.Desired Qualifications/Skills:Ability to handle multiple work streams and adapt to a constantly changing environmentStrong problem-solving skills with an aptitude for quantitative analysis and detail.Ability to clearly communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Understanding of CRM applications (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)Ability to work independently, proactively, and in an organized mannerHigh standard of professionalismWHAT can you expect from your career at CAPTRUST?Our colleagues, like our clients, tend to stay with CAPTRUST for years.
