SummaryPlans and implements an Extended School Year program that includes instruction in communication, life, and social skills; works with students in all grade levels that require communication in sign language, and/or cued language combined with an auditory-oral approach; navigates diverse student needs through a continuum of services to promote curriculum access, participation, and skill maintenance; conducts listening checks to ensure student access to resources; utilizes best practices in teaching to achieve student?s IEP goals; manages student behavior; follows pre-designed lessons, activities, and maintains appropriate pacing; orders, receives, and distributes supplies; participates in Summer Collaborative Team meetings; collaborates with administrators, central office staff, teachers, and paraprofessionals; serves as a resource for addressing student communication needs. This position requires flexibility in serving multiple sites on an itinerant schedule.Qualifications
