Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Police Officer, based in Henrico, VA. Daily responsibilities include enforcing laws, responding to emergency situations, conducting patrols, investigating crimes, collecting and preserving evidence, and ensuring public safety. Additional duties include building community trust, preventing criminal activities, and collaborating with other law enforcement agencies to uphold the law and protect citizens. Qualifications Experience in Police work, Law Enforcement, and maintaining public safetyKnowledge and hands-on experience with Evidence handling and Criminal Investigations processesStrong skills in conducting Police patrols and maintaining law and orderAbility to demonstrate ethical conduct, integrity, and accountability in professional dutiesPhysical and mental preparedness to respond effectively in high-pressure, critical situationsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse communitiesHigh school diploma or equivalent; higher education in criminal justice or related fields is preferredCompletion of police academy training or equivalent certifications requiredValid driver's license and ability to meet physical fitness standards
