As a dual-role Certified Nursing Assistant-Medication Technician (CNA-M), you will perform all standard CNA duties as well as safe, accurate medication administration under the direct supervision of an on-site licensed nurse, acting as a bridge between care and clinical treatment. We are looking for a reliable and empathetic CNA-M to help us foster a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment to achieve the highest quality of care for our residents. Responsibilities:Medication Administration: Prepare, administer and accurately document routinely schedule and PRN non-injectable medications per physician order and facility protocols.Clinical Monitoring:Record vital signs, monitor for reactions & immediately report changes in condition to the supervising nurse. Safety/Compliance: Maintain clean, orderly med cart/cabinets & ensure adherence to state infection control protocols. Direct Patient Care:Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, dressing & dining and accurately documenting care provided.Qualifications:Active, and in good standing, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license on the Maine registry. Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant-Medication training program. High school graduate or GEDCompassionate, detail oriented & a team playerExperience working within a nursing home, assisted living or hospital (preferred)Schedule: Full and part time schedules available.
