HVAC Service technician
OverviewThe Stationary HVAC Technician II is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing HVAC, plumbing and mechanical components/equipment. Performs Service projects/small jobs from beginning to completion and ensure total customer satisfaction throughout.ResponsibilitiesInstallation and commission of a wide variety of HVAC equipment.Performs maintenance of HVAC equipment such as atmospheric boiler, water cooled chiller.Energy recovery ventilator service, hydronic AHU & FCU service and repair.Establishes and maintains clear communications with customers while both on and off the customer job sites.Assists in maintain inventory and tool procurement of individual service vehicle.Promotes and performs all aspects of company safety procedures and policies.QualificationsRequired Education, Experience, and Qualifications2-4 years HVAC experienceMaintenance experience with chillers, boilers, pumps, AHU's and other equipment.Ability to troubleshoot, possessing mechanical and diagnostic skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.Preferred Education, Experience, And QualificationsCurrent Licensed Technician or verifiable experience in service of commercial HVAC & refrigeration systems.Holds an EPA Certification.OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification.Travel Requirements0-5 % of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.Physical/Work Environment RequirementsAscending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles.Climbing stairs.Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.Operating machinery and/or power tools.Operating motor vehicles.Low indoor temperature.High indoor temperature.Outdoor elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and/or wind.Noisy environment.Medium work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds.
