Job SummaryWe are seeking an accomplished Enterprise Data Architect with extensive experience in Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) to join our team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build a robust and scalable data architecture that drives business insights and data-driven decision-making.Summary Of Essential Job FunctionsEnterprise Data Warehouse Design:Lead the architecture and design of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) to support the organization’s data storage, processing, and analytical needs.Develop and implement data warehouse models, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, and snowflake schemas to ensure efficient data organization and retrieval.Optimize data warehouse performance and scalability to handle large volumes of data and complex queries.Data Integration and ETL:Design and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure seamless data integration from various source systems into the EDW.Oversee data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.Data Governance and Quality:Implement data governance frameworks and best practices to maintain data quality, integrity, and security within the EDW.Develop and enforce data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data warehouse solutions.Provide expert guidance on data warehouse architecture and integration strategies to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.Architecture Optimization and Innovation:Continuously assess and enhance the EDW architecture to incorporate emerging technologies, improve performance, and adapt to evolving business needs.Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in data warehousing technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.Documentation and Reporting:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data warehouse architecture, data models, ETL processes, and data governance policies.Provide regular updates and reports on the status and performance of the EDW to senior management and other key stakeholders.Demonstrated Experience (5 – 8 Years’ Experience)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.5-8 years of experience as a Data Architect with a strong focus on Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) design and implementation.Extensive experience with data warehouse technologies and tools, such as, e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery.Proficiency in ETL tools and techniques, with hands-on experience in designing and optimizing ETL workflows.Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data quality best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions for complex data challenges.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Pre-employment Background Check And Drug Screen Is Required.Primary LocationUnited States-Arizona-ScottsdaleJobInformation TechnologyScheduleFull-timeTravelNoJob PostingSep 23, 2024Unposting DateSep 29, 2024
