Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction

Sevan Multi-Site Solutions is seeking a Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Lead to support national construction programs across the restaurant (QSR), grocery, retail, and government sectors.This role plays a critical leadership position within Sevan’s preconstruction team, partnering with operations, clients, and trade partners to deliver accurate, strategic pricing for both high-volume multi-site programs and larger, more complex commercial construction projects.The ideal candidate is an experienced estimator who enjoys leading preconstruction efforts, analyzing risk, and collaborating closely with operations teams to develop competitive pricing strategies.Work Conditions & TravelThis is a hybrid role based in our Plano, TX corporate office. Occasional travel (10–15%) may be required for site walks, project meetings, or client coordination. Relocation assistance is available for candidates interested in relocating to the Plano area.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead estimating efforts for multi-site construction programs and larger complex commercial projectsDevelop conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, GMP pricing, and hard bidsPerform detailed quantity takeoffs and evaluate subcontractor pricing for scope gaps, exclusions, and riskPrepare and distribute subcontractor bid packages and manage trade partner outreachAnalyze project risks, site conditions, and market factors to support pricing strategyCollaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal operations teams throughout the preconstruction processParticipate in value engineering, bid leveling, and pricing strategy discussionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with national and regional trade partnersUtilize estimating tools including On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Togal.AI, and BuildertrendIdentify cost trends, efficiencies, and process improvements across program workMentor junior estimators and support estimating consistency across the teamQualifications & Experience 8–10+ years of commercial construction estimating experienceExperience estimating multi-site construction programs or rollout projectsExperience leading estimates for larger or more complex commercial construction projects preferredBackground estimating projects such as:Restaurant / QSR constructionRetail or grocery developmentsGovernment or institutional projectsStrong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and trade partner scopesExperience managing multiple estimates simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Togal.AI, Buildertrend, or similar toolsStrong collaboration skills working with operations, project management, and business development teamsAbout SevanSevan Multi-Site Solutions is a veteran-owned business that provides construction, program management, real estate & site development, and architecture & engineering services for restaurant, grocery, fuel and convenience store, retail, and government sectors nationwide.
